The Xbox 360 video gaming console from Microsoft has garnered some pretty interesting results in terms of statistics according to COO of Microsoft’s Interactive Entertainment Business, Dennis Durkin, who claimed that the Xbox360 is being used for gaming only for 60% of the time, while the remaining 40% is used for something else apart from gaming. What does those include? Among them would include watching streaming movies with Netflix, using social media sites including Twitter and Facebook, rocking to your favorite tunes using Zune or Last.fm among others. Not only that, Microsoft states that Xbox 360 owners spend an average of three hours online per day. Interesting - we wonder what the breakdown with Wii and PS3 owners look like.
