We previously brought your attention to the NEXT2 7-inch Android-powered eBook reader from E FUN. The device has now taken one large step closer to being available in a store near you by paying a visit to the FCC. In case you missed the earlier report, the device is powered by a dual-core ARM926EJ processor, offers up to 16GB of internal flash memory, SD card support up to 16GB and a battery that can last up to 6 hours on a single charge. The NEXT2 will be part of E FUN's Nextbook product line, will be pre-loaded with access to Borders' eBook store and will be sold on HSN this month for $200.
