AT&T begins to switch to LTE compatible SIM cards

Check out the internal AT&T memo that details the carrier’s intention to being the transition to LTE-capable SIM cards. AT&T has already begun to prepare employees for a new SIM card which will see action in LTE handsets and devices. AT&T has informed their employees to verify that the SIM card is correct, and this can be done by checking the SKU on the card despite the fact that the new LTE cards are visibly different. While it does seem as though there will be up to “eight different SIMs” during the transition, that would mean verifying the SKU is of utmost importance so that nobody gets confused in the process.
