HTC working on first 42Mbps HSPA+ phone for T-Mobile, launch slated for 2H11

A new report indicates HTC is already working on a new device that will be able to take full advantage of T-Mobile USA?s 42Mbps network speeds.� Samsung and LG are also working on devices capable of achieving those same speeds on HSPA+ networks, but the report does not indicate those devices will be heading to T-Mobile.

For now, all we really know about the new HTC phone is the phone?s compatibility with T-Mobile?s network. �We don?t think it?s too far of a stretch to predict it’ll be equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor or even a large qHD display....
